LIGHT FIXTURE ASSEMBLY
PRODUCTION


ANDLIGHT designs and manufactures modern decorative lumaires. We are based in Vancouver with our office in the design hub of Railtown.


LOCATION: Vancouver, BC
JOB TYPE: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours/week)

KEY ROLES
  • Manage inventory
  • Assemble LED light fixtures using simple tools
  • Packaging
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure that daily production and quality targets are met

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic LED and electrical knowledge a plus
  • Basic computer skills helpful
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Job requires extended periods of standing, lifting up to
    30 lbs/13kg and repetitive tasks
  • Soldering skills a plus

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION



As the Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors at reception and carry out a wide range of administrative and purchasing duties. The ideal candidate would be extremely organized, efficient and be able to provide exceptional office experience for staff and guests at the head office.

JOB TYPE: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours/week)

KEY ROLES
RECEPTION DUTIES
  • Set a great first impression by greeting and assisting visitors
  • Answer the main telephone line and direct calls
  • Ensure kitchens, washrooms and supply room are fully stocked and organized
  • Maintain cleanliness in general office areas, including showroom, kitchen and lunchroom
  • Manage travel and accommodations arrangements
  • Support with the organization and set up of special events
  • Direct incoming and outgoing shipments to warehouse.
  • Organize meeting room
  • Perform other projects as assigned

PURCHASING DUTIES
  • Order supplies for head office and the warehouse
  • Assist in purchasing from our vendors
  • Research and request quotes for special purchases

ACCOUNTING DUTIES
  • Collect, organize and manage invoices for credit card statement documentation
  • Collect accounts receivable
  • Pay day to day payables
  • Create and organize expense reports
  • Organize and maintain file/storage room

REQUIREMENTS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Approachable and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Well organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

SALARY
$16–$18/hour
